Autoglym Aqua Wax is more of a quick detailer than a full on wax but it is a great product to top up your wax every few weeks, it can be used instead of wax, I have done this in the past and put it on once a week after washing the car.
This is probably one of the easiest quick detailers on the market to use as it is applied to a wet car after washing and it can be used to top up the finish on the Autoglym HD Wax.
How do I apply Autoglym Aqua Wax to my car?
Once you have washed your car there is no need to dry it, you apply the Aqua Wax to the wet paint and then dry the whole car using a microfiber drying towel. It is important not to use too much of the Aqua Wax on your car, a quick spray of the wax on each panel and maybe two sprays on the roof and bonnet is enough.
After the wax is applied you need to dry the surface of the paint with a microfiber drying towel, this spread the Aqua Wax across the whole panel. Once the car is dried you need to give all panels a quick buff with a microfiber towel and you are done, the video below from Autoglym shows how to use their Aqua Wax.
What results will I get from Autolgym Aqua Wax?
For such an easy process the Aqua Wax does really produce very good results, it will give great water beading on your paintwork and one application should last for a few weeks depending on conditions, don’t expect it to last as long as some of the past waxes, it will give a lasting finish for a few weeks rather than months, but it is so easy to top up when you are regularly washing your car.
The good thing about Aqua Wax is than it can be used on all surfaces of your car, this includes the paintwork, rubber and glass and also on trim parts without leaving any white marks like normal wax would.
How much does Autoglym Aqua Wax cost and where can I buy it?
The Autoglym Aqua Wax comes in a kit and you can buy it on Amazon for about £11, for this you get a 500ml bottle of the spray wax and two microfiber cloths. Autoglym also sell their Aqua Wax in bulk under another name aimed at professionals, it is called Autoglym Express Wax and it is available with a 5 litre bottle of the wax and a spray bottle for £44.99, this can be more economical if you intend to use the Aqua Wax on more than one car on a regular basis.
